Cherry Crisp

Ingredients

1 box yellow (lemon) cake mix
1 stick butter
1 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 quarts sour cherries undrained
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour approx.

Directions

Heat cherries, sugar and flour in medium sauce pan until thick. Pour mixture in a 9X13 pan.
Mix cake mix and nuts. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixed well. Pour topping over cherry mixture and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
