Ingredients
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 larges eggs
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
Microwave 1 cup chocolate chips in bowl for 1 minute. Stir. May retain some of their original shape. If necessary mircowave an additional 10-15 second intervals, stirring just until smooth. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat sugar, melted butter and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Beat in melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Cover; refrigerate until firm.
Preheat oven to 350.
Shape dough in to 1 1/2 inch balls roll in powdered sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes or until sides are set but centers are still slightly soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
