Hazelnut Tile Brownies

Ingredients
HAZELNUT CRUST
1 2.25 ounce package chopped hazelnuts
1 cup flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar
FILLING
1/2 cup butter
4 1 ounce squares semi-sweet baking chocolate finely chopped
1/2 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons frangelico
16 3/8 ounce squares milk chocolate bars Ghirardelli
Finely chopped hazelnut toasted
Directions
Line an 8" square pan with aluminum foil; grease foil. Process hazelnuts, flour and salt in a food processor 5 secs. or until nuts are finely chopped. Add butter and powdered sugar; pulse until ingredients are combined. Press mixture into pan. Bake at 350 for 12 mins. cool.
Combine butter and semisweet chocolate in a small saucepan; place over medium-low heat. Cook until chocolate and butter melt, stirring until smooth. Cool 10 mins.
Combine flour and salt; stir well, and set aside.
Combine eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl, and beat at medium-high speed with an electric mixer 3 mins. or until thick and pale. Add cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla; beat well. Add flour mixture, stirring well. Stir in Frangelico.
Pour chocolate batter over crust. Bake at 350 for 32 mins. (Top will appear cracked) Plan pan on a wire rack. Immediately arrange milk chocolate squares in rows over uncut brownies. Sprinkle with hazelnuts. Cool and cut into 16 squares.
