Cherry Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
1 box german chocolate cake mix
1 can 21 ounce cherry pie filling
3 eggs
5 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Mix 1st 3 ingredients together. Bake at 350� for 35-40 min. I use the Decadent Chocolate Cake recipe and use 1 cup less sugar than it calls for.
Stir the next 3 ingredients together and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
